Description

Adits of mines in Bychok village

The village of Bychok is located on the banks of the Nistru River on an impressive rocky hill. Here, underground deposits of shell rock are hidden – this material is one of the main natural resources of Transdniestria. Up to the 1990s, large mines operated in the village of Bychok: high quality limestone blocks, which are widely used in construction, were mined here.

The adits of mines form the largest complex of artificial dungeons in the entire region. They are especially interesting for the fans of extreme tourism both from Transdniestria and abroad.
