The Memorial of Military Glory 

The Memorial of Military Glory in Rybnitsa was opened in 1975, to the 30th anniversary of the Great Victory. Eternal Flame in a festive atmosphere lit Hero of the Soviet Union VV. Vakharlovsky, the ribbon was cut by a participant in the liberation of Rybnitsa from the Nazi invaders I.A. Yablonsky.

The Memorial Complex, the architect of which was V.P. Mednek, was built with funds earned by the workers of the district on subbotniks (Saturday clean-up days). The layout of the Memorial has an axial composition, the main composition part is two paired reinforced concrete pylons with a height of 24 meters – a symbol of palms folded in prayer.

In total, the Memorial of Military Glory has 17 plates with the names of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War.
